About Us

Our Mission

Our mission is to develop the full potential of perovskite solar technology and bring clean, reliable energy to everyday products through breakthrough material science and scalable engineering.

About us

Our Story

CPTI was born from the belief that solar shouldn’t be limited to rooftops. We saw an opportunity to bring powerful, lightweight solar to everyday devices. Since then, we have achieved key milestones in developing low-light perovskite modules. Our perovskite solar cells are scalable, flexible, and long-lasting.
Our focus has been to connect research with industry to turn clean energy into a design tool.

What we do

Technology Focus

We specialize in next-gen perovskite solar architectures designed for integration into consumer and industrial products. Our materials are optimized for:

  • High efficiency in low-light and indoor conditions
  • Use on flexible and unconventional substrates
  • Stability and durability across real-world environments

How We Work With Partners

CPTI operates on a collaborative B2B model. We work closely with product manufacturers, device designers, and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to integrate custom solar solutions into their products.

From research and development (R&D) to pilot production, we provide technology, materials, and engineering support to help partners bring their solar-powered products to market.

Accelerating Clean Energy Adoption

CPTI’s Perovskite Solar Cells can reduce CO₂ emissions by up to almost 92% per watt. Thus, every megawatt of perovskite solar capacity delivers a measurable environmental and economic impact by providing sustainable and reliable energy for all purposes. It’s a financially viable route to sustainability goals for companies and businesses.

Perovskite solar cells exceed environmental standards and maintain their operational efficiency.

Companies and businesses can achieve a leadership position in corporate sustainability and environmental responsibility, carving out a niche market for themselves.

Economic Transformation

Perovskite technology is far superior to traditional solar cell technology. This translates into a 25-40% reduction in the levelized cost of electricity (LCOE) compared to silicon alternatives.

Thanks to its efficiency and performance, this technology offers faster return on investment and provides reliable and sustained performance advantages throughout the system lifecycle.

Businesses seeking to stand out from the competition can become early adopters of next-generation technology. The first to successfully do so will create competitive advantages that newcomers will struggle to match.

Applications

Primary Applications

Optimized Layering for Maximum Efficiency

Portable Power Devices

The compact form factor of perovskite solar cells makes them ideal for portable chargers, camping equipment, and mobile workstations. They provide reliable power generation even in low-light conditions, such as on cloudy days and in indoor settings.

Our solar cells are portable and lightweight, making them perfect for easy transport and handling.

Building-Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV)

This technology can be applied to windows, facades, and roofing systems to generate power without altering the building's architecture. This can work on both residential and commercial real estate like office buildings and retail centers.

We expect to see perovskite cells integrated into smart building systems for better energy use and grid interaction.

Large-Scale Infrastructure

Moving to large-scale infrastructure, perovskite solar cells can be adapted for use in manufacturing plants, warehouses, and processing centers due to their lightweight and highly efficient nature.

Even airports, rail stations, and transit facilities can use this innovative technology, as can telecommunication infrastructure such as 5G towers, data centers, and communication networks with integrated power generation capabilities.

Advanced Energy Systems

Perovskite arrays paired with battery systems can be used for utility-scale renewable energy projects. This includes agrivoltaics, whereby dual-use installations generate power and support agricultural operations.

Looking further into the future, we expect to see perovskite solar cells used in marine and aerospace industries, with specialized applications in boats, aircraft, and space systems that require lightweight, high-efficiency power.
